From Mickey Mouse Sketches to Tattoo Machines
I still remember drawing my first Mickey Mouse when I was around five years old. That small drawing slowly turned into a lifelong obsession with art, imagination and making things with my hands.
As a child, I was building my own Ghostbusters suit, making WWE-style belts, sketching wrestlers, painting, crafting and experimenting with anything creative. Cartoon Network, History Channel, Travel & Living and Miami Ink shaped my teenage imagination.
Drawing became discipline. Discipline became tattooing.

Art Started Before Tattooing
Mickey Mouse sketches, handmade costumes, WWE belts, cartoons, pop culture, painting, craft and dance became the foundation.
Goldman Sachs to Tattoo Studio
At 19, while pursuing BCA, I worked as an IT analyst at Goldman Sachs. That job helped me invest in better tattoo equipment while I practiced tattooing from home.
Dark Arts & Devilz Tattoos
I trained in professional studio environments where hygiene, process and discipline mattered. Eventually, I chose tattooing over a stable corporate salary.
Building My Own World
Pradeep Junior Tattoos evolved into Astron Tattoos — a studio built around tattoos, paintings, sculptures, props, custom designs and skin transformation.

I travelled, tattooed and explored visual cultures across Sri Lanka, Bhutan, China, Japan, USA, Dubai, Qatar, Thailand, Italy and more.
Art Psychology + Skin Tone Work
Studying Art Psychology in Painting at RUFA, Rome helped me connect fine art, emotion, skin tone, perception and confidence restoration.
Camouflage Tattooing Changed the Purpose of My Work
At Astron Tattoos, one of my most meaningful areas of work is scar camouflage and stretch mark camouflage tattooing. This is not about removing scars. It is about blending visible marks with custom-mixed skin-tone pigments so the contrast becomes softer and more natural-looking.
Every skin tone is different. Every scar heals differently. That is why my approach is careful, honest and realistic. I study the skin, mix tones, work in sessions and guide clients through the healing process.
